Concept Sheet Template
Instructions for completion and submission of the Concept Sheet template:
• Actual proposal/concept text not to exceed 10,000 characters, including spaces
• Fill-in the form electronically, and return via email to STICTG@fhi360.org by the submission deadline.
• Submissions received after the deadline will be held for the next review session, if desired.
• If additional sources of funding for your study are anticipated, please indicate those sources and the amount in the appropriate box.
Concept Sheet Review Process:
• Concept Sheets will be reviewed by the STI CTG three times a year (link to important dates).
• Concept Sheets submitted by the deadline will be reviewed by the Operations Coordinating Center (OCC) for completeness and forwarded to the STI CTG Executive Committee (EC) for comments.
• Concept Sheets and EC comments will be sent to the Scientific Review Committee (SRC) for an in-depth review, discussion, and scoring.
• SRC recommendations will be sent back to the EC for final approval.
• Submitters will be notified of the status of their Concept approximately 2 months from the submission deadline.
• Approved Concept Sheet authors will be sent either the Protocol Outline or Full Protocol documentation, which they will complete and submit for review.
• Accepted Protocol Outline or Full Protocol authors will work with the STI CTG from development through completion of their clinical trial.
